Below are some common symptoms that can occur with a shoulder injury. If you are experiencing any of the below symptoms, you may benefit from a physical therapy evaluation to determine the cause and develop a plan to resolve these symptoms.

Common Symptoms that occur with shoulder injuries may include:

  • Pain in the Front of the Shoulder
  • Pain in the Back of the Shoulder
  • Pain with Movements Including Reaching Overhead or Behind the Back
  • Popping or Feelings of Instability in the Shoulder
  • Weakness of the Shoulder Muscles
  • Increased Muscle Tension in the Chest, Mid Back, or Shoulder Muscles

  • Rotator Cuff Impingement
  • Rotator Cuff Tear or Tendonitis
  • Shoulder Dislocation
  • Shoulder Labral Tear
  • Adhesive Capsulitis (Frozen Shoulder)
